Susie and I walked to school together for many years. She lived right down the alley. Cold mornings with snow drifts everywhere but too proud to wear boots and no moms able to drive us but lots of fun and laughter. We reconnected by email after the last reunion for several years. So saddened and shocked to see today that we had lost her.
